For Immediate Release THIS YEAR WHITE CLOTHES AFTER LABOR DAY At H&M’s Grand Opening Celebration Shoppers At the grand opening celebration of the new H&M stores in King of Prussia and The Concord Mall on Friday, September 6 at Noon, the first 100 shoppers in line at each store that bring in white clothing to donate will receive 20 percent off any new Fall Collection item in the store. Also accepted as part of the clothing donation by the first 100 shoppers is pastels and summer wear. The clothing donated by shoppers at the grand opening celebrations will benefit a Gifts in Kind affiliated charity in need. Gifts in Kind has a network of more than 350 affiliates and provides nonprofit organizations with product and service donations. “The only real rules in fashion is that what you wear makes you feel good, and feel good about how you look, that’s true no matter when you wear white,” said Karen Belva, public relations manager at H&M. “What’s most important for H&M is to enter the King of Prussia and Concord community as a good neighbor. Not just a resource for affordable fashion and style, but a business that is going to come up with fun ways to help others in the community.” In addition, the first ten shoppers at both new H&M stores who are already in the Fall spirit and wearing corduroy or something bohemian will receive an exclusive H&M Fall Fashion Inspiration Box. The H&M store located at the King of Prussia Mall (160 N. Gulph Road) is 8,000 square feet and offers fashions for women and teens. The H&M store located at The Concord Mall (4737 Concord Pike) is approximately 20,000 square feet and features fashion for men, women and teens, as well as children. Both new H&M stores, located in tax-free shopping regions, have the same store hours: Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 9:30 p.m., and on Sunday from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. Marketing its own brand of clothing with a team of 80 in-house designers, H&M receives daily deliveries of new fashion styles and sells more than 400 million garments a year. H&M is also opening a store on September 6 in Harlem, New York, which marks the 40th U.S. H&M store opened since 2000. H&M is Europe’s leading fashion retailer offering fashion and quality at the best price. Marketing its own brand of clothing for women, men, teens, and kids, H&M sells more than 500 million garments a year. H&M opened its first store in Sweden in 1947 and expanded with the first U.S. store on Fifth Avenue in New York City in 2000. Today, H&M has 40 U.S. stores, primarily in the Northeast region, and globally has more than 800 stores in 14 countries. H&M has more than 30,000 employees all working to the same philosophy: to provide fashion and quality at the best price. To visit H&M’s web site please go to http://www.hm.com.
