FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
New York, NY
NAOMI CAMPBELL, ANGIE EVERHART AND
DANIELA PESTOVA TO MODEL IN
THE NEW H&M LINGERIE CAMPAIGN
New H&M Lingerie Campaign Features Top International Supermodels

H&M, Europe’s leading fashion retailer, announced today the company’s new winter 2003 lingerie campaign featuring supermodels Naomi Campbell, Angie Everhart and Daniela Pestova. Showcasing the women against a red, glossy backdrop, the new campaign highlights H&M’s collection of sexy intimate apparel - from low-cut boy short bottoms with feminine ruffles and ribbons to vintage-inspired balconette bras and camisole sets.

“We are thrilled to have Naomi, Angie and Daniela featured in our latest campaign showing off H&M’s collection of affordable, lingerie for the season,” said Sanna Lindberg, U.S. country manager for H&M. “The new campaign reinforces our commitment to offering stylish, high-quality designs at prices that make fashion affordable.”

Photographed in Paris by Ellen von Unwerth, the new campaign will be shown in all 18 countries where H&M has retail locations. In the U.S., the ads will appear in the December/January issues of magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Jane, Marie Claire, Lucky, Elle, GQ and FHM, and in metro media outlets such as Time Out New York, The Improper Bostonian, Philadelphia Magazine and Chicago Magazine. Outdoor advertising will include billboards, public transportation terminals and taxicab tops in Chicago, Philadelphia, Boston, Washington, D.C. and the New York metro area. H&M stores will display the new campaign beginning Friday, November 14.

This is Everhart and Pestova’s first H&M campaign and Campbell’s second. She first modeled for H&M’s lingerie campaign in 1992. Previous lingerie campaigns have featured Elle MacPherson (1990), Cindy Crawford (1991), Anna Nicole Smith (1993), Natasha Henstridge (1996), Kylie Minogue (1998), Claudia Schiffer (2000) and Bridget Fonda (2001).

Created by H&M’s in-house designers, the winter lingerie collection features glamorous pieces – bras, thongs, low-rise boy shorts, teddies and camisole sets - inspired by vintage decadence. Feminine detailing like beads, sequins, and ribbons embellish velvet and satin fabrics in rich shades of red, black, gold and fuchsia. Offering varied styles and prices, this season’s lingerie ranges in price from $5.90 to $19.90.

H&M is Europe's leading fashion retailer offering fashion and quality at the best price. Marketing its own brand of clothing with a team of 95 in-house designers, H&M receives daily deliveries of new fashion styles and sells more than 500 million garments a year. H&M opened its first store in Sweden in 1947 and expanded with the first U.S. store on Fifth Avenue in New York City in 2000. Today, H&M has 65 U.S. stores, primarily in the Northeast region, and globally has more than 900 stores in 18 countries. H&M has 39,000 employees all working to the same philosophy: to provide fashion and quality at the best price. To visit H&M's web site please go to <http://www.hm.com>.
