H&M BRINGS FASHION TO NEW HEIGHTS
Syracuse Five-Year-Old Makes a Fashion Statement With A Giraffe
and Win’s H&M T-Shirt Design Contest

H&M, Europe’s leading fashion retailer, has chosen 5-year old Rachael Lieblein-Jurbala as the winner of its “Creative Kids Make a Fashion Statement” contest. As the winner, Rachael will receive a $100 H&M gift certificate and have her drawing depicting “What Summer Means To Me” printed on a limited-edition H&M children’s t-shirt with “designed by Rachael” on the sales tag. Rachael’s design, which was entered at H&M Carousel Center, was selected from thousands of entries received from all participating H&M stores in the U.S.

The limited edition children’s t-shirt is available for purchase in the children’s department at all H&M stores, including Carousel Center (9090 Carousel Center) and Great Northern Mall (4155 State Route 31). H&M will donate the purchase price of the “Creative Kids Make a Fashion Statement” t-shirt directly to Save the Children. This national not-for-profit child-assistance organization is committed to make lasting positive change in the lives of children in need.

“As a company that is in the business of dressing people of all ages with stylish, high quality, affordable fashions, we are happy to add Rachael’s design to our current collection of children’s summer clothing,” said Karen Belva, public relations manager at H&M. “Rachael’s winning design will not only offer kids another fashionable choice, but most importantly, will directly benefit the non-profit children’s organization, Save the Children.”
