H&M HAS THE ANSWER TO FINDING THAT PERFECT
BACK-TO-SCHOOL OUTFIT!
H&M Invites Kids of All Ages to Come to its Grand Opening
and Trade Something Old for Something New – for a Worthy Cause

Bensalem, PA — As summer comes to an end and a new school year looms in the air, it’s time for kids to get organized, clean out their closets to see what they’ve outgrown and head out to do some serious back-to-school clothes shopping!

At the grand opening celebration of the new H&M stores in Neshaminy Mall (707 Neshaminy Mall, Bensalem, PA) and Park City Center (142 Park City Center, Lancaster, PA) kids and parents getting ready for back-to-school can shop for a worthy cause. On Friday, August 23rd at Noon when both new stores officially open, the first 200 shoppers in line that bring articles of clothing that they have outgrown will receive a free H&M t-shirt as well as 25% off the purchase of any single item from the children’s department. The clothing received from shoppers at the grand opening celebrations will be laundered and donated to United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania.

“All year round H&M provides people with clothing that fits their personality, which we know is very important to students who are heading back to school,” said Karen Belva, Public Relations Manager at H&M. “As a company that is in the business of dressing people with style, we thought it was a natural fit to develop a program that would help people in need, and ensure that every kid has a chance to feel fashionable and confident on the first day of school.”

“United Way is pleased to partner with H&M stores for a promotion that will provide clothing for disadvantaged children,” said Camara Jordan, Manager of the Gifts-in-Kind Program at United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania. “The donation of clothing provided by H&M’s customers will be welcomed and appreciated by many school children who are in need of clothing.”

With the two new stores, both approximately 14,000 square feet, H&M has opened 36 stores in the U.S. since expanding here in 2000 with the opening of its New York City store on Fifth Avenue. Both of the new H&M stores at Neshaminy Mall and Park City Center will offer fashions for women, teens, and children. The H&M store at Park City Center will also feature a men’s department.
