ON ELECTION NIGHT, LET YOUR STOMACH CAST A VOTE

The Hay-Adams Gives Guests The Chance To Eat and Drink In Support of Their Candidates

Washington, D.C. – If you’re wondering whom someone voted for, just look at their plate or what’s in their glass. On Election Night, people in and around the city of Washington, D.C. can give their candidate of choice some extra support by eating and drinking with them in mind from a special Election-themed menu offered by The Hay-Adams, Where Nothing is Overlooked but the White House. All evening long, patrons who visit Off The Record and The Lafayette, both located at The Hay-Adams, will have the opportunity to order local-inspired food and drink from Texas and Boston – the hometowns of President George W. Bush and Presidential Candidate Senator John Kerry.

The special Election Night menu items include:

Drinks at Off the Record
The Party Ballot - Rum, Campari, Sour Mix, Grenadine and Orange Juice
Bush Takes Manhattan – A Manhattan with Bushmills
Texas Tea – Long Island Iced Tea without the Gin
Cosmo Compassionate Conservative – Cosmo with Absolut Mandarin
Boston Cream Soda – Amaretto and Soda
Kerry Berry-tini – Martini with Raspberry Vodka

Appetizers/Entrees at The Lafayette
Boston Clam Chowder
Celtics Split Roasted Cornish Hen with Boston Baked Bean Gratin
Texas Style Charbroiled Bison Strip Steak with Homebaked Crawford Cornbread
