IN A FATHER'S DAY SURVEY OF 110 FORTUNE 1000 CEO DADS....
DID YOU KNOW:

Maybe the kids go to bed later than they do?
Almost every CEO who has a child at home knows what time they get up for school (66%)...they are far les aware of what bedtime is (49%).

Even the bigshots are open to second opinions
When asked if they considered themselves good fathers, a small self deprecating number said it "depended on who you asked" (4%).

I'd like to spend more time with the kids, but...
Nine of ten CEO's said they wanted to spend more time with their kids and when asked why they didn't, just under half of the top decision makers said they felt they "were doing what is best" for their children's future.

Uh oh...I missed the graduation speech!
Although 72% admitted they have missed an important milestone and 62% said they felt regret over the missed occasion... there is hope...11% NEVER missed a birthday party.

Wishful thinking???
While 6% of the CEO dads surveyed thought it was a little far fetched to think balancing a high level of professional responsibilities and those of a father were possible, 80% said they spend the same amount of time or greater than their father spent with them.

QUICK...name your kid's three best friends!
The good news is 59% of those surveyed knew...the bad news is for the staff at work; if you happen to be below the title of VP, 39% of CEO's admitted to not knowing one name.

It's been a long day...

34% of CEO's will leave an evening meeting if they are bored or the meeting is not productive....and if their kid happens to be having a Piano Recital, 69% are leaving!
