INTRODUCING FIVE PEOPLE IN THE ADVERTISING COMMUNITY
WHO ARE ACTUALLY NOT UNEMPLOYED
DiMassimo Brand Advertising Hires Five New Employees
(Or As He Likes To Refer To Them – FRESH MEAT!)

New York, NY March 26, 2002 – The job market is not the best these days, but DiMassimo Brand Advertising, the creative agency with a heritage in direct marketing that promises to "move businesses" is happy to introduce five people who won’t be searching the classifieds this weekend. Creative Manager Tammy Skuraton, Senior Copywriter Troy Torrison, Assistant Art Director Roger Stephens, Brand Manager Tim Rivera and Print Production Manager Swava Bruni are no longer unemployed.

Meet the “fresh meat”…

Tammy -- A Syracuse graduate (Go Orangemen!), Tammy Skuraton is the former Creative Manager at Cliff Freeman and Partners. Following her stint at Cliff Freeman, Tammy was recruited to work for Leslie Kay, stealing employees from some of the agencies she once worked for. (Nice girl.) Tammy's mission at DiMassimo will be the recruitment, care and feeding of “creatives who are best in the world at selling concepts through all media."

Tammy loves her dog, Scarlet, the New York Giants (don’t cross her because she can tackle like LT), her friends and family.

Troy – Known for penning the infamous line, “ALL RADIAL TIRES 50% OFF” while copywriting for retail giant Montgomery Ward, Troy Torrison recently left Kirshenbaum, Bond & Partners where he wrote for Citibank Debit Card. Following a brief stint as a rock and roll poster salesman in Europe, Troy worked at Citron Haligman Bedecarre, Weiss Whitten Stagliano and Merkley Newman Harty, where he wrote ads for BMW and Mercedes Benz.

At DiMassimo, Troy is looking forward to a leadership role at an agency that knows its strengths--creating great, integrated brand campaigns that move products and services.

While not writing copy, Troy enjoys writing about himself in the third person and playing with his new iPod.

Roger – Considered a professional student by some, this Brooklyn native is truly “fresh meat” , having just graduated. Roger, an art director by training, loves to make complex sales through simple, elegant creative ideas. With hopes that his job with DiMassimo will be the springboard he’s been looking for to land a starting spot in leftfield with the Yankees, he’s sure to do some great things.

He believes everyone should read “The Giving Tree” by Shel Silverstein and would consider skydiving a hobby of his, if it weren’t so expensive.

Tim – A huge New York Rangers and New York Knicks fan (I can’t believe he admits it), Tim is coming off a 2-1/2 year stint working at Goodby, Silverstein and Partners. Tim says he came to DiMassimo because he "totally buys into the whole brand/direct thing -- great brand creative ideas drive cutting edge direct businesses."

Born and bred in Denver, CO, ol’ Timmy Boy enjoys snowboarding and mountain biking in his spare time. While he doesn’t believe anyone reads these bios, his hopes are that this one may lead to a couple of free congratulatory rounds out at a bar one night.

Swava – Swava comes from a three-year tenure at DDB Worldwide where she also served as a Print Production Manager. She’s a Yankees fan (her and Roger will be getting along just fine) and an experienced European traveler who joined DiMassimo because, “my skill-set was a perfect match for their needs, and their business philosophy was different and interesting.”

“Tammy, Troy, Roger, Tim and Swava were the perfect fit for our agency because our co-ed water polo team was in desperate need of two girls and three more guys. All I can say is the Deutsch Water Polo Team better watch out!” said Mark DiMassimo, CEO and Executive Creative Director of DiMassimo Brand Advertising. “Seriously though, in times like these it’s important to take every opportunity to stock up on the best talent out there – I’m confident these folks will make major contributions to our agency.”
